Lilleth’s work navigates dissociation and embodiment, both globally and personally. To leave the body is often an act of self-protection. To return to the body is an act of healing. Lilleth creates immersive installations activated for performance and audience engagement. By employing sculpture, movement, music, lights, and video, Lilleth and their collaborators attempt to create space for collective embodied healing.
Lilleth is also the founder and director of YOU ARE HERE CREATIONS (@yah.world), aiming to create equitable access to healing and creative expression.
Lilleth's work has been shown at DAAD Galerie Berlin, Roulette Intermedium, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Holland Festival, The Stravros Festival Athens, The New York Philharmonic, Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival, Abrons Art Center, The American Academy in Rome, P-E-O-P-L-E 2018 at the FunkHaus, National Sawdust, The Capri Marfa, Pace Gallery, Dixon Place, Ars Nova, the Westbeth Artist Building, Wasserturm Prenzlauerberg, The Flea Theater, Alpha Space, The Future of Storytelling, and myriad site specific locations.
